This training will provide in-depth discussion of topics relevant for providing developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive, care for children involved with the child welfare system.
Upon completion of this course:
- Participants will understand behavioral challenges that are a part of normative child development.
- Participants will be able to identify behavioral challenges that stem from maltreatment.
- Participants will be able to identify ways to respond to the identified behavioral problems.
