This training will provide in-depth discussion of topics relevant for providing developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive, care for children involved with the child welfare system.

Upon completion of this course:

  1. Participants will understand behavioral challenges that are a part of normative child development.
  2. Participants will be able to identify behavioral challenges that stem from maltreatment.
  3. Participants will be able to identify ways to respond to the identified behavioral problems.
