In efforts to align with Child Welfare Principles of Practice, which involves inclusion of the entire family unit in the decision-making process, DCFS believes this can be achieved by maximizing client and stakeholder engagement and building healthy working relationships.  The Supervisory Engagement Survey provides guidance on the tool that will assist the supervisor in evaluating and enhancing workers’ engagement with parents, caretakers, and foster/adoptive parents.
