LGBTQ Children Youth & Families - Foster Parents Caring for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Youth - CP

Upon successful completion of this course you will earn 0.50 Training Hours.

This training is intended to increase the awareness, knowledge and skills of foster parents along with help with DCFS staff, so they may effectively and competently care for LGBTQ+ youth in their families. Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ+) youth and families live in all regions and in every parish of the state yet are often invisible to communities and institutions, including the child welfare system.
